Job Title: On-Call Direct Care Worker
Company: ComForCare Home Care

ComForCare Home Care is seeking an experienced caregiver for a short-shift, on-call position. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle, as some clients may be located at a distance. Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling between two clients scheduled back-to-back. Stand-by direct care workers will be given a time frame they will need to be available to fill shifts. We offer comprehensive support to our caregivers and truly value the important work they do.

Your role will be:
  • - To help others and make a difference in our community
  • - To build meaningful relationships with our clients
  • - To assist the clients with daily activities to stay independent in the comfort of their home
  • - To help with personal care
  • - To help the clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • - To handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • - To assist with light housekeeping
  • - To provide valuable companionship and respite services for the family

  • - On-Call Pay Bonus Pay: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work

We're looking for:
  • - Your passion for serving and helping others live their best lives possible
  • - High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
  • - CNA certificate preferred
  • - Access to reliable transportation
  • - Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus. If none, we will help train you for the role
Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
