Job Title: On-Call Direct Care Worker

ComForCare Home Care is seeking an experienced caregiver for a short-shift, on-call position. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle, as some clients may be located at a distance. Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling between two clients scheduled back-to-back. Stand-by direct care workers will be given a time frame they will need to be available to fill shifts. We offer comprehensive support to our caregivers and truly value the important work they do.
Your role will be:
- - To help others and make a difference in our community
- - To build meaningful relationships with our clients
- - To assist the clients with daily activities to stay independent in the comfort of their home
- - To help with personal care
- - To help the clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- - To handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- - To assist with light housekeeping
- - To provide valuable companionship and respite services for the family

- - On-Call Pay Bonus Pay: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work

- - Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus. If none, we will help train you for the role
